How can I make a tutoring appointment?

• Appointments are made in person at the Writing Center.
• We post weekly sign-up sheets each Friday for the following week.
• Choose an available (blank) slot and fill in your full name, phone number, and email address.
• Limit of one 30-minute session per day, two per week. Students with letters on file with Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) may sign up for two consecutive sessions at a time.

What if I don't have an appointment?

• You are welcome to drop-in and meet with a tutor as long as no one is signed up for that time.

Cancellation policies:

• Cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance.
• You may cancel an appointment via email, phone, or in person.
• If you're 10 minutes late, your tutor may cancel your appointment.
• Missing 3 appointments puts you on our "no show " list. You may still drop-in, but may not reserve appointments in advance. This condition remains in effect for the rest of the semester.
